Apply To Adopt

HANK IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD WHILE HIS OWNERS SEEK A PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER. Hank is a 4 year old English Bulldog who was adopted two years ago and is being returned due to the arrival of a grand child. Hank is too nervous around the toddler. It's such a shame, because he's an affectionate dog to his humans. He is fully house broken, likes to sleep in and is not an early riser, likes to cuddle on your lap at night. Hank is not a chewer, and he enjoys his walks (but like most English Bulldogs can overheat in the heat), He's in good health, is great around older children (teens and up), has some food sensitivities; so he is on a special kibble. We prefer raw or fresh food, but it is not mandatory. He's not a dog for the dog park as he's selective about his dog friends. We prefer he be an only dog with an owner who is willing to socialize him with the supervision of a dog obedience trainer. He's very intelligent and an easy-keeper. English Bulldog experience preferred. Once we receive applications we will arrange for him to meet you.

Lady is a sweet little mixed breed dog who was rescued and had surgery to repair cherry eyes. She is just darling and deserves a forever home. We think she may be Kiki's mother. The two were rescued together and are inseparable so far. We would love for someone to adopt them together. They're so small and would be great company for each other if you work part time or even would be great for a family where each child wants their own sleeping pal. Available 7/29/15.

Pearl is the mother to the puppies who look like Cattle / Akita mixes. Pearl is only 35 lbs, but her pups are quite large. Pearl is a sweet dog and a good Mom to her pups as you can see from the pictures. When they were all fed, she made sure the puppies had enough to eat. She has been known to gently push the bowl of food over to the puppies to be sure they eat. She let them nurse well beyond typical weaning. They stayed with her until they were 11 weeks. She is heart worm positive as is the case of many adult dogs from the south who are forced to live out doors and not given protection from mosquitos. She is being treated so that she can come quickly and be adopted too. Please help by sponsoring her. Pearl is a sweet dog who will have her day soon. Please keep her in your prayers. She's probably got a few months to go unless we can get special permission from the state, which can be very difficult.

Biscuit is 1 1/2 to 2 yrs old. She is a very sweet young dog who has had to endure rejection from her previous owner; so she needs someone to be gentle, kind and patient with her. She will need a couple of weeks of close bonding in order for her to trust and feel comfortable with her new family. She is bright, observant, very loving and eager to please, fully house-trained and very good in her crate. She enjoys playing with other dogs, taking long on-leash walks and snuggling. She does well in the car but is a bit anxious for the first few minutes; she does not get car sick. Her foster Mom feels that a fenced yard is necessary so Biscuit will not be able to follow her nose if the opportunity arises; she is a Beagle x. She is fine with housecats but will chase a cat outdoors. She has been living with a cat in her foster home and has done very nicely but outdoors on the farm there are barn cats that will give her a run every now & then-all in fun never any harm done. Biscuit is a very loving little dog and needs her forever family to be just that: a forever family. She has been through enough changes in her young life. So if you are that committed forever family come meet this sweetheart and make her your newest family member, she will not disappoint you! She loves everyone of all ages.
