Available On: 7/26/14

Apply To Adopt

Willa is a 1 yr female terrier mix with wiry hair. She is spayed and weighs 20 lbs. Pretty little Willa is so cute with her feather boa look. She was rescued from the same shelter in TN that Harmony was. She has been enjoying being in foster but really needs her own family. She runs and plays all day with other dogs but her heart is really with her people. Anyone that has had a terrier knows how intelligent they are and she is itching to learn more. She is very alert and would be a great dog for an active family. She also met children at the vets office and loved them. We have not cat tested her. She is house trained with a dog door. She also loves walking on leash.

Apply To Adopt

1 year old female, 35 lbs spayed Aussie/collie mix Harmony was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. We have been working hard to save many dogs from this shelter as they are euthanized within days of their arrival. Harmony is just beautiful inside and out. She is playful with all the other fur kids and loves attention. Currently she is having to share attention but will love a family to love her. She would be great at the dog park or anywhere dogs gather. Her breed is very intelligent and she does have some herding tendencies when playing with other dogs. She isn't pushy about it but wishes they would just get in a small group and stop running every which way. Because of the herding we recommend no toddlers. She is so sweet, her coat is getting very silky soft since starting on Fromm dog food in rescue. She should train easily and no doubt be top of the class in obedience class. Has not been cat tested. No phone calls please. Her updated arrival will be posted on her bio as we learn it.

Apply To Adopt

Doug is 28 lbs with a medium coat, 1 yr old lab mix. Doug is a happy boy. He was with Harmony, Gina and Willa in a high kill shelter in TN. With all that behind him now he is thriving in foster care. Currently he plays all day with his girlfriends and is always happy to see people. He was fine when cat tested. He acts like he has been around them but any intro should go slowly. When he went to the vet there were children there and he loved all the attention they gave him. He loves to play fetch and always brings it right back. He has been a good boy in his foster home. He is still a pup in many ways. He does have a gentle jump to say hi but his foster is working on "off".

Mack, Manny & Mojo, 9 Weeks Male Pug/JRT/Beagle  Mix

Available On: 7/31/14

Apply To Adopt

Manny and Mack are Macy's pups they weighs about 4-5 lbs and were born May 20th. Mojo is the white one. Mojo, Manny ad Max are little bundles of joy. They are so darn cute they bring a smile when watching them running and playing. Mojo, Manny and Mack were born in a high kill shelter. Their future was not good until our wonderful volunteer literally saved them. At 5 days old they were brought to their foster home, given the best of care and a safe place to thrive. All 3 boys are very smart. They are already going outside to do their business but not completely house trained. They are not as mouthy as many pups are and love toys as distraction. They are all snuggle bugs. They sleep quietly at night in a pile but are up and ready for action at 5:30. They love running in the yard and playing then pass out for hours. They are in an exercise pen for containment inside and will need to begin crate training soon. They are young enough to be fine with cats.

Macy

Available On: 7/31/14

Apply To Adopt

Macy is a Pug/Terrier mix and only 16 lbs. Macy came into a high kill shelter in TN, shortly after she had puppies at the shelter Manny, Mo-Jo and Mack. Macy has always taken great care of her pups but is ready to be her own dog and not mom. She is very loving and intelligent and would do great with another dog. Currently her best friend is a big German shepherd but it would be wonderful if she had a friend her own size. She has been crated very little due to 24 hour a day care of her boys. But she seems to curl up quietly the few times she was in the crate. She is house trained with a dog door. She would be happy with a yard to play in as she is so full of fun and loves the outdoors. She curls up on her dog bed at night waiting for her foster mom to wake up in the morning. She is a nice size at 16 lbs, but not at all delicate. Macy walks on leash too.
