It is with tremendous sadness that I am writing to tell you that Abbydog passed away yesterday after a battle with urethral cancer. She was about eleven years old. As you know, it is a very difficult time for the boys, but they understood that she was suffering. They did a great job taking care of her during her life and in the last few months of her illness, and I am extremely proud of Zach, Gabe, and Caleb. I have enclosed a few pictures of her. She was rescued from an organization called Save A Dog ( www.saveadog.org) and we hope to adopt again when we are ready.

I know that wherever she is she is eating as much banana bread and cheese as possible and showering whoever surrounds her with her incredible love.
