Who Will Be at Paws in the Park 2009
Who will be at Paws in the Park 2009?

We get numerous emails from adopters asking about other dogs who have been adopted through our program. Also, the volunteers that work so hard to rescue and foster these dogs, just love seeing them again! Paws in the Park is the perfect place to meet up with the dogs and their families.

This page has gone over so well in the past years, we are doing it again. It is for those of you who want to tell other adopters and volunteers that you will be at Paws in the Park 2009.

Send your name, dog's name, dog's former name, the month & year he/she was adopted and any brief message you would like posted. If you have a current picture, attach that too! Email your information to webmaster@saveadog.org.

At 11:45am we will be holding a "Find Your Pet's Littermate" contest. If you adopted a puppy or dog who had a littermate, you are eligible to play "Find your Littermate" at 11:45 in the Main Ring. Make sure you know your original adoption date and if possible, any other siblings from your dog's litter. Then you can all walk together during the "Walk" part of our event!

We will have a bulletin board and index cards available at the Information booth. These cards can be used to write messages to siblings and/or volunteers regarding where/when to meet. We are planning to set up a meeting area. Ask at the Information booth where this area is.

Rosebud - Adopted: January 2007

Rosebud is looking forward to some cooler weather this year for Paws in the Park!

Lottie - Adopted: September 2008

As you can see, I've been busy these last few months - who knew the world had so much stuff to chew on? But I can certainly take time out of my busy doggie schedule for an event like Paws in the Park - it will be my first one and maybe my last, because my parents Cedric and Caroline are planning to move to Brooklyn soon!

I'm looking forward to seeing my foster mother Lara again, and maybe even hook up with my long-lost doggie mom, Celeste (renamed Sweeney), or my sister Brook. And I LOVE meeting new dogs and people....can't wait!

(There are sticks at that park, right?)

See you soon

Lottie (with Caroline and Cedric)

Tillie - Adopted: June 2008

Tillie, adopted June of '08, can't wait to travel across the state to see her sister Zoey, her foster mom Diane, and maybe even her old friend Henry Houdini! This picture was taken back in December, about 45 lbs ago. I bet it won't be too hard to win the "Find Your Pet's Littermate" Contest. See you all in a few days, Paul and Karen Craig, and, of course, Tillie

Phoebe (Previously Bailey) - Adopted: May 2009

Phoebe, formally Bailey, came home with us on May 16th, 2009. She and her new dog friends (and their people) are all looking forward to their first Paws in the Park.

Zoey - Adopted: August 2008

Hello everyone:

My name is Kerri (KJ) Limoges, and we adopted Zoey in August 2008. We are planning on attending the Walk in the Park and are looking forward to a great day.

Zoey is a beautiful girl. She has grown quite a bit, but we certainly expected that of her breed, a Great Pyr/Komondor mix. We hope to be able to catch up with both her littermate and her family, as well as her foster mom.

See you all in May!

KJ and Zoey

Hugo - Adopted: October 2008

Hugo – from the litter of Hobbes, Foxy, Sweet Pea and more – will be attending with his mom and dad, Briana and Kevin Curran.

Daisy - Adopted: October 2006

We adopted Daisy in October of 2006. She participated in your agility course at Paws in the Park 2006 before we adopted her and we were told she sailed through the jumps with ease. This is of no surprise to us as Daisy likes to chase my kids and I up and down the playground gym sets and even goes down the slide! Yet, her favorite thing is rafting and boating. When we put a lifejacket on Daisy she gets SO excited. She floats around the lake with me on my float and loves to be taken out in our paddle boat.

Daisy and I hike almost every day through the trails in Sudbury.

Clem (Previously Reggie) - Adopted: December 2008

Clem (formerly Reggie, adopted December 2008) will be at the Paws in the Park, excited to play.

Jessica Bozek & Eli Queen

Benji (Previously Blackie) - Adopted: November 2008

Hi everyone,

It’s me, Benji! I’m so excited to attend Paws in the Park and meet lots of doggie and people friends. This will be my first time going. Mommy says it’s like a carnival just for dogs, and that the kind people who helped me find my home will be there! What could be better?!

See you in May!

<3 Benji
