This is the first year Rosebud has missed Paws in the Park. Unfortunately, she had another commitment today (attending a soccer game.) She has won the "Happiest Dog" contest at PIP for the last two years in a row. Looks like she would have had some stiff competition this year. We hope to see everyone next year!

Tiggie (Previously Cross) - Adopted: June 2009

I adopted Tiggie through a rescue organization called Good Dog Rescue. He came to me from Mississippi. Tiggie and 12 other dogs were rescued when they were removed from a backyard breeder when he got arrested. He and is siblings/children were put in a high-kill shelter and an angel from Good Dog Rescue took them all home. Adopting Tiggie has been the best move I ever made. He is sweet, loyal, loving and so much fun. I can't imagine life without my little goofball. Can't wait to attend Paws in the Park!!!! Liz Sher

Comet lives the life of luxury in his forever home. We lovingly refer to him as "Mr. Personality" as he is quite a character. Comet runs and plays with his friends at doggy day care every day and snuggles with his humans every night. We love him very much and are so glad we found him.

Sally came from Tennessee, I think in late 2008. She was adopted by an elderly person who was not able to walk her, and so she became overweight. The person decided she couldn't take care of Sally, so she brought her back to Save-A-Dog. We are a family of four (including 2 children currently ages 10 and 12), and we were lucky enough to find and adopt this wonderful dog. She is calm, good-natured, extremely friendly, wonderful with kids of all ages, and great with our cat! She is the best, and we simply adore her!!

After a challenging first week of gastritis and worse, Pete responded to treatment, started eating and settled in very happily with his new family. He is a gentle, sweet dog who has very good manners. His owner (deceased) must have been very loving. And a good trainer! Now if he and the cat could at least come to a point of indifference.

I have a rescued Greyhound named Fast now, but back in the area of 1999, we adopted our beloved Beagle named Betty from Buddy Dog, and she was brought here to Mass by Save a Dog from NYC. She had been found as a stray there and put in a shelter that would have euthanized her after 48 hours. Betty has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge back a year or so ago.

Isis was rescued from the Seabrook Race Track in NH. After sustaining a racing injury where she broke four bones in her left hind foot, she was put up for adoption. She is the sweetest dog I have ever met and we are lucky to have her as part of our family.

I know that Janey and DixieGirl were in her group when we adopted her, but I know there are lots more from that group out there! We love Jelly so much and can't imagine our lives without her!
