Floppy is an 18 month old Husky/Lab/Hound mix who weighs 58#. She's tall and very quiet, not high energy at all, just a love bug. She is a very sweet dog and she gets along great with Martina and Dover. She's a favorite among our volunteers. We can just see her sitting on your sofa watching Animal Planet. Her story is: She was dumped in a rural area as a puppy and this family decided to take her in. Their children are very afraid of any dog or cat and Floppy did not get time and attention from them or from the parents...since they both work. So....Floppy became the neighborhood dog and spent more time away from home than she did at home. They asked if a dog rescuer would help place her.
She is easy going, a little shy at first with strangers, but loves attention and lets strangers pet her without any problem. She is good in the car, not used to being inside a lot....so that will be a small adjustment for her. She is okay on leash. She likes to play with other dogs and kids. She has gorgeous blue eyes, like a husky. We'll see what she is when she arrives and we can assess her. She will be at our Meet and Greet on 9/13 at The Doggie Den, 14 Blake St., Northboro, MA from 11-1.
