Ben is a young Pug-looking mix, with an Austrial Shepherd bobbed tail. He LOVES ferrets, even drinks from the same water bowl. He will share his toys with the ferret, but not with other dogs so would probably be best as an only dog as he really loves his toys. He is approx.18mo old, and is a neutered male. He loves to play tug-of-war and fetch. He also loves to chew on his nylabone. Ben is a little overweight at 35lbs, but we switched him to a non-Purina much healthier food so expect he will drop the pounds he gained on the corn-based diet. He would probably be awesome with cats as he is so gentle with the ferret. He is current on shots,heart worm neg. housebroken and well behaved. He loves to ride in the car and go for walks. Ben has the typical Pug personality,when he grunts excited he grabs a toy and softly grunts and snorts as he wiggles his rump, it is so cute! Ben loves to play ball and tug-of -war and chew on his nylabone. Ben knows come, sit and whines at the door when he wants in or out. Ben is very intelligent with lots of personality, eager to please, will listen if corrected. Ben needs some one with a gentle way about them, he has been abused by someone in the past -he has 2 pins in his hind leg because someone kicked him and broke his leg.
