Sofia is a beautiful, friendly German Shepherd girl. Smart, mellow, and sociable, she will make a wonderful companion. She gets along well with other dogs and loves people. When Sofia was rescued, she was in a very malnourished state and is still underweight at just 58 pounds. It's clear she had a home at one time, as she was spayed when rescued. She deserves a second chance to live the life she was meant to live -- as a loving, loyal member of the family. She's undergoing some tests at our vet as she has been drinking lots of water. Initial tests showed protein in her urine so further tests were taken including bloodwork. Donations will help offset her vet expenses and possible special needs placement.
