I have been volunteering for Save a Dog for almost five years now and am proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization. I have seen thousands of dogs come through, each with it's own story and in need of it's own home. ALL of the dogs leave happy, healthy and with a new family to love them.

The dogs Save a Dog takes in would otherwise have no chance, making Save a Dog literally a life saving organization. Although we all wish it was, the task of saving lives is not cheap. Between the transport, the vet and food, the average dog can go over $500 with some getting up in the thousands.

Paws in the Park is one of only two big annual fundraisers for Save a Dog, making it crucial that we raise plenty of money to continue saving lives. This year funds are especially needed because we recently renovated a property and have opened our adoption facility. The upkeep is expensive in and of itself, but we are still trying to raise money to pay off the construction loans and to buy the property.
