This year I am walking in honor of all my fosters – Sebastian, Homer, Violette, Mocha, Oreo, Calvin, Nigel, Andy, Kelly, Jaynie, Dagwood, Honey, Keesha, Gypsy, my boy Tuffy, Bentley, Duke, Bam Bam, Corkey, Churchill, Apollo, Fran, Goldie, Buster, Louise and Mike. And, of course, my two favorite fosters, the ones that fit perfectly into our hearts and our home, Grace and Dolly, who we adopted! When you foster a dog, you teach them things and they teach you things right back. You help love them back from awful situations, and they show you their amazing capacity for forgiveness.
