News Release: Save A Dog’s 2013 calendar boy Harvey – AKA “Mr. June” - will be attending Paws in the Park 2013. He is seen here trying to avoid the “pup-erazzi”. Harvey will walk to support his friends at Save A Dog (all those who took such good care of him until he made his way home to Dedham) and all the other dogs still looking for their own loving homes. Harvey came to Save A Dog from Indiana – having been badly neglected in his previous life. Through all the care and love provided to him in Indiana and Sudbury (somewhat complicated by his total deafness) Harvey recovered and flourished. He was adopted in April 2012. Save A Dog continued to support Harvey and his people as he settled into his new life. He now enjoys loving his people, sleeping, long run/walks, sleeping, cookies, sleeping, playing and sleeping. Please come by and say “hi”, but be advised – Harvey does not give “paw-tographs” – though he has been known to shake paws – especially if a cookie is involved.
