The 14th annual Paws in the Park is a fundraiser for Save a Dog, Inc., a 501(c)3 tax exempt humane society. It's a fun-filled event for people and dogs alike! There's going to be tons of rescue groups, vendors, and fun activities for everyone! Also, Flying High Frisbee Dogs will be performing this year in the main ring!
All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the welfare of the animals. Donations are used for the direct medical care and well-being of dogs in the following ways:
~$50 Heartworm Test
~$65 One health exam and health certificate - for out of state dogs
~$75 Vaccinations for one adult dog
~$85-100 Neuter for one adult dog (MALE)
~$100 Geriatric blood profile for one geriatric dog
~$150 Spay for one adult dog (FEMALE)
~$200 X-rays for one adult dog
~$300 Standard medical care for an incoming rescue dog (includes vaccinations, heartworm test, blood tests, worming, and spay or neuter).
There are other costs related to Save a Dog, Inc.'s efforts as well, including housing the animals until they are adopted; feeding them; flea and tick treatments, etc. Donations in any amount go a long way to making the lives of these animals better, and are greatly, greatly appreciated.
