I first became aware of Save A Dog ("SAD") in January 2007 when we adopted our beloved Rosebud from the organization. For several years we attended 'Paws in the Park' with Rosebud as an alumna! In January 2026 I became a shelter volunteer for SAD. This has given me a whole new appreciation for how much time, effort, and money it takes to run a successful and dedicated rescue organization like SAD! In March 2026 we adopted Dolly who quickly stole our hearts. She will make an appearance on May 3rd as a SAD alumna!
