As most of you know, my dog (and best friend) Belle passed last Aug here with me in New England. In Nov, I adopted Leif, this beautiful 8-year-old bear of a boy, from Save A Dog. He had lost his owner as I had lost Belle. Then we adopted Lil G (for Little Girl) a ten-week-old Aussie/Border Collie in January, again from Save A Dog.

Save A Dog is a 501c3 not-for-profit humane society that helps rescue and re-home abandoned dogs - many of whom are in line for euthanasia at shelters. I volunteer at the organization and am so glad and proud to be part of the really good work being done for pups and people. Please help support my fundraising efforts with a donation! Needless to say, I am so very grateful for any and all pledges, but if you can, please pledge BIG. You can't imagine how many pups need the help. All monies go directly to them as we are an all-volunteer organization.
