On Sunday, May 7th, I will be joining other animal lovers at Paws in the Park to benefit Save a Dog and help fund it's work of helping homeless dogs find healthy, happy, and loving homes. Please consider sponsoring me in my quest to raise at least $500 to help with the incredible work that is done by Save a Dog. No amount is too small. If you help me raise money for Save a Dog I will be forever grateful! AS AN INCENTIVE, I will donate $.50 on every dollar pledged to me, up to $250. Please help me reach my goal! The more people that are willing to help, the more dogs we'll be able to help! Here is an idea of what your contribution can do for one of our rescued dogs: • $50 Heartworm Test. • $65 One health exam and health certificate (out of state dog). • $75 Vaccinations for one adult dog. • $85-100 Neuter for one adult dog. • $100 Geriatric blood profile for one geriatric dog. • $150 Spay for one adult dog. • $200 X-rays for one adult dog. • $300 Standard medical care for an incoming rescue dog (includes vaccinations, heartworm test, blood tests, worming, and spay or neuter). There are many other costs related to Save a Dog's efforts, including housing of the animals until they are adopted; feeding them; treating them for fleas and ticks; dog beds; crates for transporting dogs up from the south and Midwest: sherpa bags for flying dogs up from the Virgin Islands; etc. Save a Dog, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable 501 (c)(3) organization, and all contributions are tax deductible.
