As you know, I continue to foster dogs who are looking for families that will shower them with love. Many pups and kittens come from Southern states and have never lived in a warm home. They are abandoned, thrown into dumpsters or are strays on the streets to scrounge for scraps of food. We get mama dogs that were used for breeding and have never learned to walk on leash or lived in a home.
Save A Dog is a privately funded, all volunteer organization. Funds raised go directly to pay for dog and cat food, spays and neuters, other surgeries. My current foster was used for breeding, she just had puppies and needs to be spayed.
