Dear Shirley,
Just wanted to send you a couple of photos of our terrific dog. Boomer is finally
over his separation anxiety, and he is now proving what Allyson Holbrook told me
when we met - that he is a camel! He is still quite excited when we come home, but
I no longer have to plan on cleaning up afterward. He is even starting to go into
his crate on command, though not very happily. What a difference!
Boomer put on four pounds in the first two weeks and now looks more accurately
proportioned (we originally thought his head looked big for his body and his
ears were huge!). He is VERY attached to us and loves to be near us, even to
the point that he doesn't like to be in the back yard alone for more than a few
minutes. We can let him out in the front yard to go to the car or to play with us
(our house is set well back on a cul-de-saq) without worrying that he will run off.
He is particularly responsive to me and continues to be my shadow, leash or no.
Thank you for Boomer and for your support when we had our initial issues.
Your advice was golden! Hope you get lots more happy endings.
Sincerely,
Lisa Bert
