Thanks, Shirley!
He has had a good first day. No messes in the house, and played with
his toys and us. He was bathed, given prospot, fed, and loved to death. He is
exhausted and resting downstairs by the couch. I have a crate set up in my
bedroom for later, and read your instructions. He will be well loved, and
I saw my wife comparing him (favorably) with our recently departed best
buddy. We will all make Shiloh (now Quincy) welcome, and he will get good
care from us and the vet.
I attached a photo from my kitchen that I took this
evening and sent to my folks as I called them to let them know we are no
longer "dogless in Massachusetts." I cannot imagine going without a dog in
my home, and Shiloh/Quincy will be a great addition to our family. Thank
you for your support in finding this wonderful dog for us. Your
organization had a great day today, and I hope you can continue to serve
both dogs and families that need them for a long time.
