Save A Dog’s 9th Annual Dog Walk is on Sunday, May 31st.

My family rescued our dog, Daisy, in 2006 from Save A Dog. For those of you that don’t know me, Daisy is my constant companion, walking and hiking buddy, and best friend. I fell in love with Daisy and the Save A Dog organization when we were going through the adoption process. I was impressed with their patience, dedication and care they gave each dog to find them their forever homes.

This year I have been fortunate to join the Save A Dog team as a volunteer. I have even more respect for Shirley Moore and the hundreds of volunteers that make up her team now that I see all of the selfless acts they each make. I have watched so many dogs arrive scared, malnourished and homeless and they leave happy, healthy and adding love and joy to their new family’s lives. None of this would have been possible without the generous donations from people like you.

Paws in the Park is one of Save A Dog’s two biggest fundraisers. On Sunday, May 31st I will be walking for Paws and I am collecting pledges for my walk.
