I want to raise funds to rescue dogs like Koal.
Koal is a 2 year old black Lab whose owner dragged him by a rope behind his truck. The man was arrested and Koal was rescued. It was then learned that Koal also had a fractured hip (that had healed) from the same man running him over with his ATV. Can you believe it! Despite his ordeal, Koal is a joyful dog who loves everybody he meets. Koal hesitates to get near a vehicle, can you blame him, but once he is in, he rides great.
Koal is in a new home now. His previous owner may have broken his bones and teeth, but not his spirit. Koal's love and tenderness reminds me why I do the work I do.
