Hello! May 5th is the annual Paws in the Park celebration and walk to support Save a Dog, the animal rescue group in Sudbury where we found our little fuzz baby, Dixie! It is a wonderful non-profit group of volunteers who partner with rescues in the South and all over the region, to take in high-risk dogs who need to find a good home. (Preferably ones with lot's of pillows, soft blankets, and toys to chew the heads off of.) As you all know, adopting Dixie really has changed our lives, and even all of our wonderful friends who come visit, take her on walks, and dogsit. We want to support the great work that Save a Dog is doing, and help fund the services needed to care for the dogs they take in while they are waiting for the right family to come and find them! Just a $5 donation will make a huge difference in the lives of countless animals and the humans who will one day call them a best friend. And all donations are of course tax-deductible.
