Sponsorship Information
Over the past years our annual walk has been a great success, proving that Paws in the Park is the place to be this summer! This year the walk will again be one of our major fundraising events. The event will be held outdoors, at the Norfolk Hunt Club in Medfield, MA from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, June 11, 2006. We will start the day off with our group walk at 11am. The activities include an agility ring, demonstrations, parade of adoptable dogs, doggie games, face painting for the kids, a silent auction, raffles, food vendors and more. We also had over 65 dog rescue groups and commercial exhibitors in attendance last year.

The event will attract many people from the greater Boston and the Metro west area who have adopted from Save A Dog as well as people currently looking for a new dog companion and local dog owners enjoying a fun day out with their dogs! The event will be advertised on the internet as well as in many newspapers and on the radio stations that have chosen to sponsor us this year.

These sponsorships are designed to afford companies an opportunity to interact with the community in a positive, upbeat venue. This is an opportunity to promote teamwork within your company in a non-work setting. Your staff and their families have an enjoyable time while working for a specific goal of helping a local non-profit. Companies that choose to participate are given their own booth to staff and decorate with company products (upon approval of the Paws in the Park Committee). Your staff is allowed to wear company clothing to aid with marketing your organization. Participating companies have found that it is a great way to promote themselves within their community with a limited investment of time, money, and effort. Every sponsor receives a 10 x 10 booth space at Paws in the Park (please bring a table and a pop-up tent). Below is a listing of sponsor levels for you to choose from:

We also gladly welcome in-kind gifts to help alleviate some of the expenses we incur for Paws in the Park (i.e. printing, media promotions, silent auction items, prizes for teams & individuals who raise the most money, raffle prizes, tent rentals, etc.) If you think your company may be able to help us by donating a service or item, please contact our Fundraising Director at dawn@giovannucci.com.

Diamond ($5000)

As a Diamond sponsor you will receive:

  • Your company ad on our home page from the time you sign up until the day after Paws in the Park. Our site averages 3000 hits per day. When we have puppies available this goes up to 5000+ per day.
  • A full page ad in the program. The first Diamond sponsor to sign up will have their ad on the back of our program.
  • Your company name mentioned in our Press Releases.
  • Your company name on the Paws in the Park Banner and T-Shirt.
  • Your company link on our website.
  • Your company name listed in the program and on the map.
  • Your company name mentioned in at least 2 announcements at the event.
  • Booth space.

Platinum ($1500)

As a Platinum sponsor you will receive:

  • Your company ad on the Paws in the Park 2006 page from the time you sign up until the day after Paws in the Park.
  • A full page ad in the program.
  • Your company name on the Paws in the Park Banner and T-Shirt.

Gold ($500)

As a Gold sponsor you will receive:

Silver ($250)

Save A Dog is an all volunteer non-profit [501(c)3], all-breed dog rescue dedicated to saving homeless dogs and connecting them with forever homes. Since our inception in 1999 we have placed over 1800 dogs/puppies to wonderful families in the New England area. Save A Dog is thrilled to be able to host an event where dog lovers can have fun, while raising money to save the lives of homeless pets. We would be very pleased to have you as a sponsor this year!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • You will have a 10 x 10 space. PLEASE bring an EZ-up tent for shade - you will need it! Bring your own table/booth/chairs, etc; there will be electricity available at different areas of the field this year; (exact locations still being determined)
  • Sponsors/Vendors will be prominently placed between Rescue groups and our demonstration rings.
  • All vendors must pre-register by June 9th; early birds who notify us by May 10th will be listed in our program.
  • Set up will start at 8:30 am, and all cars must be off the field by 9:30am.
  • Paws in the Park will end at 3:00 pm and no cars will be allowed on the field until 3:15pm.

DIRECTIONS: From Route 95/128.

Follow the PAWS that will be posted along the way!

  • Take Rte 109 West (Exit 16).
  • Follow 109 about 7 miles to the center of Medfield.
  • Turn right on North Street (immediately after the town hall/at gas station).
  • Go about 1 1/2 miles, bearing right and staying on North Street when road splits.
  • Paws in the Park will be in the large field on left about 1/2 mile from the split.
