Dear Save A Dog,

Luna came into our lives in not the usual way. I was a volunteer at Save A Dog and currently had two dogs, Teddy and Mia (also a Save A Dog alumnus). Luna (formerly Jenny) came from Tennessee, she was around two years old and was quickly scooped up for adoption. Fortunately for us, the other adopted parents returned her and we knew we could never let her go again. We were very lucky to have adopted Luna and wish it would have been for much more than 6 years. Luna, along with Teddy and Mia, was a foster sibling of at least 200 puppies/dogs over the years for Save A Dog. Unfortunately, we lost her unexpectedly on 10/20/16 after she was diagnosed with a devastating disease. Now she is busy playing, running around, and of course, barking at everything she sees with her brother, Teddy (who died last year), over the Rainbow Bridge. We will always love and miss “Loony” Luna.
