He is from Louisiana where dogs roam free and this was not good for him because he was attacked by another dog. He's fine now, and very fortunately only had an injured paw. She was treated for heartworm and is now negative. She likes to lounge on the couch, play with other dogs, and get cuddles from the volunteers. She likes children and other dogs. He's a good boy, and plays with Lolita and another female. We have several videos. He is just over 50 lbs. and is around 5 years old. He is 1 of 3 dogs found on a country road in Minden Louisiana and has been in foster care for five months, not because of anything he has done wrong. He's a bully breed and the shelters are full of bully breeds, so here he waits. BUT he is wonderful and we know so much about him. He is dog friendly, people friendly and kid friendly. He walks well on leash, travels well in the car, is great at the vet's, likes to play in water. He keeps his kennel clean and is well behaved in the house. Jane came to her foster home from a shelter. She was found in the ditch on the side of the road, very skinny and very pregnant. She had kittens on 5/19th, the day after her arrival in the foster home. It was like she was waiting for a safe place to have her kittens. Jane was a wonderful mother. And when the kittens were old enough to be weaned, Jane was spayed. She has been fully vetted and is FIV/FeLV negative. She is very sweet and loves to be petted. She likes to be held but only when it is her idea. Jane has been around dogs and she doesn't mind them unless they're too pushy. She has been around horses and other cats and seems to be very laid back and just a very sweet Kitty. She's good=natured and just a joy to have a round. Available 12/5. He is very sweet. He never met a person he didn't like. He likes the dogs, he likes other cats and he thinks the horses are just great. Sherman looks exactly like his mama.
