But I loved her and enjoyed her and took the best care of her I could.

 

The one thing i could not combat was Congestive heart failure- an issue of Dobies.  She was found to have a heart murmur in Jan of 2020 and went on meds- Vetmedin- the drug of choice.  I did not notice anything until about 6 weeks ago when she coughed now and again-  Then Dec 31 in the late afternoon she was amess- took her to an emergency vet and was diagnosed.  Many trips to emergency vet and 2 overnights at the Animal Med Ctr in NYC and she just could not get ahead of the affects.

 

Anyhow, my heart is truly broken.

 

Not ready for another but when I am I will be in touch and Lizzie said to keep in touchas well.

 

I wanted to say thanks for helping insure I had 8 1/2 years of the best dog in the whole wide world!!
