Hi Shirley,

We adopted Squiggy from Save A Dog back in 2006.

I just wanted to send you a message that our much beloved Squiggy, the little hairless, Chinese Crested mix has passed away this past Thursday at the age of 15 1/2. His bout with kidney failure was very brief and quite sudden. I wasn't prepared as I thought I would be for a dog his age. I am so terribly heart broken over it and have been crying for the past few days. 

He had a wonderful life, full of lots of love. This sounds crazy, but he was like a second child to us. We often joked about it, though it was actually true. We dressed him in cozy pajamas, bathed him once a week (which he hated:) and tucked him in every night with a kiss on his head. We took him everywhere with us on vacations. he turned heads everywhere we went with him. His quirky looks - mohawk and a tongue that always hung out, lopsided drew a lot of attention with people asking to snap a photo of him. 

I couldn't have loved a dog more.
