Daisy's story:
Daisy had lived with a family, but one day ended up in a high volume shelter in WVA. Daisy had never been in a shelter before. You could tell she had been loved before -- she liked to play ball, had very good house manners, would sit, give paw and rollover. Daisy was adopted by Karen Salvucci and her family. Karen says:
For months I watched Daisy on the website. I read updates on how she had won an agility contest, how she was a big ball player and was so behaved in her foster home. We took the family over to meet her and I got choked up when she looked at me. She looked sad and lost. She sat down in front of us and gave us her paw. That was it, I had to have her. I remember asking her foster mom how many other applicants there were for Daisy, she said none. I knew she was meant for me. Daisy is now 12 years old and living her retirement years with her family and furry brother, Big Red.

Daisy's Paws in the Park update
My name: Karen Salvucci
Dog’s name: Has always been Daisy!!!
We adopted Daisy in October of 2006. She participated in your agility course at Paws in the Park 2006 before we adopted her and we were told she sailed through the jumps with ease. This is of no surprise to us as Daisy likes to chase my kids and I up and down the playground gym sets and even goes down the slide! Yet, her favorite thing is rafting and boating. When we put a lifejacket on Daisy she gets SO excited. She floats around the lake with me on my float and loves to be taken out in our paddle boat.
Daisy and I hike almost every day through the trails in Sudbury.
