Dear Friends at Save A Dog,

Today is Rory's first birthday (more or less!), and our hearts are filled with gratitude to you for rescuing Rory and her ten siblings and fine mother, Princess, last January.  You rescued them and nursed and loved them back into health, and put tiny Rory (the next to

smallest) into our arms on that freezing late-January day.  The first thing she did was kiss Polly's cheek with her little tongue, then when we got indoors she climbed into my lap and went to sleep.  We were in love already!  Rory is a wonderful dog -- smart, agile, affectionate, mischievous, remarkably mild mannered.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  We are sending a donation today to mark her birthday.  much love,
