Hi Shirley,

Things continue to work out well.  Marley is really adjusting well to our home.   We found a very nice dog walker and also a nice women in Weston who has a small doggie day care.    I think we’re going to do just 2 days of doggie day care a week.  We’ve been working on getting him into the car, and today we made some good progress!  We try a little stepping stool to help him reach and that seemed to work.  He got in by himself one time!  Once he’s in, he does fine in the car.    Marley is doing better with our cats and is beginning to ignore them.  We’re also teaching him to “sit”  so we can put the lease on and off.  He finally did it!    We’ve looked around for some dog training/obedience  classes and have a couple of recommendations from our friends that we’ll look in to.

Shirley -

Things are going very well with Marley!!  Our daughter is in LOVE with him!    We set up the crate set up in the family room and are limiting him just to a couple of rooms for now.  He really enjoyed the walks we took him on yesterday.   He ate well, drank water, and went to the bathroom just fine.  This morning we woke up early and took him out and he did his business outside (both).   So far so good!  Here are a just couple of photos.  We'll keep you posted on the progress!
