Hello all at Save A Dog!

Just wanted to take a moment to provide an update on Lady, since I think it has been a while.

It is hard to believe that it was way back in 1999 that we found each other.  She is having quite the time in her golden years with me.  We lost her brother Aussie in 2006, which didn't suit her too well, she did not enjoy being an only dog.  Thankfully, in 2007, we met a wonderful man and his wonderful golden retriever (Logan), and she has been happily bossing Logan around ever since!  Up until a knee injury in 2009, she had been doing plenty of outdoor activities with me, including hiking up the auto road of Cathedral Ledge in the winter - what fun that was!  Since her knee injury, her athletic activities have been curbed a bit, but thanks to the wonderful care of our holistic vet, Dr. Regina Downey, Lady has been able to work her way back to what I would say is a relatively normal amount of activity for a 14 year old pup.
