Buddy

Hi,

Just an update on Buddy f/k/a Tags/Buck: We adopted Buddy in June of 2011. When I saw his sad face on Save A Dog's website I began my campaign to bring him "home." My husband did not want a second dog, but after I showed him Buddy's picture and story he agreed to meet him.

Upon meeting Buddy he was very withdrawn probably wondering what he was doing away from his people. He made no attempts to interact with us and gave our five-year-old golden Skye minimum attention.

Having rescued five dogs previously, I knew that we couldn't evaluate what Buddy was really like from this quick visit. We knew it would take time for him to adjust and realize he was here to stay in a loving home.

Well, I'm happy to say Buddy has done fabulous. He goes on hikes every day and enjoys them immensely. We are greatful to Save A Dog for letting us bring Buddy into our home. He has been a joy.
