To all my friends at Save A Dog -
After finding my adoption picture on the website (I look sad and skinny!), I wanted to say hi to all of you and let you know how I am.
I AM GREAT! I turned 7 over the summer, but most days I still run and play (and occasionally chew things I not supposed to) like I am a puppy. I'm still not very good at fetch (I like to catch then eat the ball) and I have STILL not caught any squirrels in the yard (although they don't come to visit me very often anymore). My very favorite things to do are going for walks near the beach (on the path, not the sand, because there are more people to see) riding in the car and chewing on rawhides.
I was a little sick over the summer from pneumonia (I learned my lesson about inhaling while swimming) and a small stroke that effected my back legs. It was a bummer, but the good part is that I'm back to normal now. I can jump on and off the bed and stairs are now problem. It's like it never happened, except sometimes when I have an itch and my legs don't work right.
My epilepsy is under control (only 1 seizure in the last 4 months!) with the help of some new meds. I need to take 3 different kinds, but I don't care because I always get a cookie once I swallow them.
I've attached some new pictures for you to see. Not as skinny as you remember, I'm sure. :)
Thanks again for taking such good care of me and helping Alissa find me. She tells me everyday that I am the best doggie ever.
Hugs and licks for all of you -
Beau
