Millie was adopted as a pup and had a great home, but the family had to move out of the country and could not take her.

Much thanks to Jill Mentzer for giving her a safe haven in her home until we were able to find a terrific new home for her.

Hi Jill,

Thought I'd send along a photo of Millie/Trixie at the beach this week.  We go to a pond in the blue hills where a lot of us bring dogs and no one bothers us about them swimming.  She won't go in the water, but loves to play with all the other dogs, there were 10 there that day!  She & Gracie went camping with me the week before and seemed to love it - she seemed very much at home.

If you have contact with the previous family, please let them know she is doing very well, seems to have settled in and loves everyone she meets.  They did a great job raising her.  I'm sure they miss her terribly.  I'd be happy to keep them updated if they can bear it.
