Greetings all,
Michelle and I would like to forward you some fairly recent photo’s of Baxter (formally Pup). I’m pretty sure the last update photo’s I had sent you were back in 2003 or so. the guy is doing absolutely great! He’s very healthy and a good sport, we take care of each other... a bit spoiled, but he doesn’t seem to mind that at all. still get’s several walks each day and has surely become an important part of our family. I love to see him waiting and wagging his bushy tail for me when I get home from work, always brings a smile. sad news though, we lost his buddy “PJ” (also adopted) last year. She was 15 years old and had a good life with us. Baxter seems to be adapting okay being the only dog, but he misses her.
One request please... Baxter’s Save-a-Dog tag is getting rather worn out (he never takes it off), his number is 694 and it’s getting hard to read , I was hoping we could get a new one somehow. Please respond and let us know how to go about doing that.
Again, we thank you all at Save-a-Dog for making both Baxter and us VERY happy to be together for life! Your organization is no doubt THE BEST!!!
I would encourage anyone who is searching for a pet to go with Save-a-Dog, forget the Puppy mill’s and Mall pet stores, there are so many great dogs and cats posted on your web site that need a permanent homes and second chance.
I’m looking forward to bringing Baxter to one of your fun Save-a-Dog meets when one comes around our area!
Best Regards,
Gary and Michelle Porter
