Dear Shirley,

We met more than 4 years ago when we adopted our dog, Zach (he used to be called Gary).  Actually, I prefer to say that Zack adopted us.  We thought we were going to your house to get a lab.  I'd had several labs and liked their personalities.  But, when we met Zack and he deposited a big kiss on my youngest child's cheek (she was crying at the time), the deal was made.  We came home with Zack--a lovable, 40 pound dog of indeterminate breed.

He has been such a joy to us.  Thank you for all you do.

This is a photo of Zack and my son taken shortly after we got Zack.   He is a bit bigger now, but still young at heart.  We live near miles of wooded trails, so he gets to go on lots of long hikes.
