Hi,
 
We are sending an update about Addie.  She is doing great on the farm, she has befriended a 5 year old rescue horse that we have staying with us for the winter.  Every morning Buttercup the horse walks to the edge of her paddock and greets Addie nose to nose.  She has many new dog friends in the area and really enjoyed her first training class with her other adopted mates.  Addie loves to have company on the floor with her and makes herself a "home" wherever she is in the house by dragging her blankets, pillow and every stuffed animal she owns to that space! She is quite fascinated by our guinea pig and isn't quite sure what to think of her squeaking, however, she is fond of our two box turtles.  When they are out roaming around she will lick their shells and sit next to the chair they like to hide under.  Addie is smart, affectionate, clever, playful and very fluffy and we can't imagine not having her! Thank you so much for all that you have done for her and all of the other dogs that come to your door.  She has her wonderful life because of loving people like you and we couldn't be more grateful.
 
As I was finishing this note, I answered a phone call from my brother who will be visiting us for awhile and when I asked about his dog Sasha, who was rescued from a terrible life, I found out that she was recently hit by a car and passed away.  If there is a way that I can make a small donation in her name, please let me know how to do so.  She loved other dogs, so if there is someone who may need a specific donation please let me know, Sasha would love to help.
