Adopted

Hansel and Gretal have always known a home until recently when their owner passed away. They belonged to a long-time supporter of the shelter we partner with in Louisiana, LAMA. Their owner, a woman, loved and cared for them very well. They lived inside with her and lived a wonderful life. Imagine the shock they must be feeling! These dogs were here true companions and now they're in a shelter. We're placing them separately as they compete for attention and each needs to have a home ASAP. They are supposedly seven years old, but act much younger. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and the adoption team will get right back to you.

Adopted

Indy is a beautiful 2 year old Australian Shepherd who was picked up in Louisiana where there are many homeless dogs. Thankfully he came in Heartworm Negative. No one ever came to claim him, so our rescue partners at LAMA had him vetted and he’s ready for a home out of the heat! He is smart, would love to learn, and loves taking in all of the action, as he is stationed at the front entrance of the rescue! Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and the adoption team will get right back to you.

Adopted

Mary is a sweet female Beagle who was picked up with Laura and Nelly, two other Beagles. All are in the 20-pound range and have just become available. These three beautiful Beagle girls were wandering around in rural countryside. They wandered upon the wrong person’s house and he said he was going to shoot them if they kept coming around. Obviously, our sister rescue, LAMA, couldn’t let that happen so the volunteers went to go pick them up. These beautiful Beagle girls are ready for some Air Conditioning and a life where they can take it easy, sniff around the house and yard, practice leash skills, and finally be a part of a family. They would each do best with another dog to show them the ropes, but it is not a requirement. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and the adoption team will get right back to you.
