This page was created in memory of a dear volunteer, Mary Atkinson. Her obituary is on Legacy: https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/mary-atkinson-obituary?id=58206504 For years Mary was a dedicated volunteer and a foster parent. She had recently turned 80, but was still bringing in newspapers for the puppies and also collecting our Styrofoam as she was very active in Sustainable Sudbury. Mary was a generous supporter, donating regularly and encouraging her friends to donate. Mary came into the shelter on a regular basis and she will be sorely missed.
